1. Why do I need a Ladybug steam vapor system?
Until now, you have cleaned your home with cleaning products that line hardware and grocery store shelves. 2. Does Ladybug use chemicals?
No. Our Thermal Accelerated Nano Crystal Sanitation proprietary disinfecting technology, commonly known as TANCS®, utilizes nanotechnology and minerals—the same minerals found in ordinary tap water—to kill a wide range of germs, bacteria, and viruses without chemicals.

3. So Ladybug is a disinfection device not a cleaning device?
No. While it is true that chemical cleaners do not disinfect and chemical disinfectants do not clean, Ladybug was designed to both clean and disinfect in one easy step.

4. How do you use a Ladybug?
Cleaning and disinfecting most things is as simple as slowly moving a towel-wrapped brush attachment over a surface. That’s it. No elbow grease is required.

5. Since I can’t see germs, how do I know my Ladybug is killing them?

6. Is Ladybug regulated by the government?
TANCS® is regulated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and an EPA establishment number is proudly displayed on each Ladybug steam vapor system.

7. How long does it take a Ladybug to kill germs?
Less than 7 seconds. That’s significant because independent testing by the Department of Environmental Health at the University of Michigan reveals that even strong chemical disinfectants such as bleach after 20 minutes of contact time do not achieve the same degree of kill as TANCS® accomplishes in 3 seconds. Plus—and this is very important—unlike chemical disinfectants, TANCS® leaves no residue behind that breeds new bacteria.

8. Do natural agents such as vinegar disinfect?
Vinegar doesn't work well as a disinfectant. According to the EPA, a disinfectant must kill 99.9% of disease-causing bacteria and viruses. Vinegar only works against a few—and not very effectively since you need to allow vinegar at least 30 minutes of contact time.
